The streets in the vicinity of 31st and L were blocked off yesterday for a special “Hochnosas Sefer Torah”, a parade through the streets of Brooklyn to escort the Torah commissioned by Ruthi & Leizer Stern in honor of Moshe Yehuda Stern and Gertrude Wallach from its origins in Israel to its residence in Yeshiva Tiferes Yisrael, deftly orchestrated by Korn and Company.

You’ll notice that this newly dedicated Torah is adorned with a cover that reads  ותחזינה עינינו בשובך לציון ברחמים.   Enabling our eyes to see.
