I haven’t seen a Sinclair Gas Station or Dino in years, to the point where I thought both were extinct. So it was actually exciting to stumble across one in Scottsdale yesterday.
Looking it up, there are are multiple stations in the Midwest and West, but comparatively few on the East Coast. In fact, only one in Philadelphia and a handful in New Jersey and New York. Dino was all the rage growing up in the 50s and 60s, and had a major presence at the 1960s World Fair in New York. You can take a stroll down memory lane with Dino here.
