Pitchers & Catchers!

February 14.  Many know it as Valentine’s Day, but for those with the love of baseball it’s also the first day this season that pitchers and catchers officially report to spring training – simply known as “Pitchers & Catchers”.

And there, under partly sunny skies in Clearwater, Florida were our good friends – Gail & Steve Cooper – to take in the first sounds of mitt-popping baseballs on the practice fields adjacent to Spectrum Field (yes, they really re-named Bright House Network Field).

If you have a good eye, you can spot Cameron Rupp near the cage, no doubt summoning the courage to come over and ask Gail for a tip or two about any new fine dining establishments in or around Clearwater Beach!
