Hulk Hogan’s Structural Instability

Go figure.  Terry Bollea, aka Hulk Hogan, has lived in Clearwater since 1992.  His beach shop on Mandalay Ave., across from the Sandpearl Residences (and the back view of our March condo), became the centerpiece of Pelican Walk Mall a few years ago.

Hogan was shouting out at Hogan’s Beach Shop yesterday, but for a different reason than usual.  Evidently all the jackhammering to clear the lots behind the stores for yet another condo development created enough instability to shift the foundation.  The couple hundred autograph seekers who were there yesterday were ushered across the street, and all the stores – including Al & Stella and The Brown Boxer, are off-limits until a structural engineer re-approves.

It is the lead story in Today’s Tampa Bay Times
