The Fall League November 2

Our first home game today at lovely Camelback Stadium in bright sunshine sufficiently warm to chase most of the posted crowd of 264 to seats under the stands for shade.  That included the family of Drew Stankiewicz whose dad, Andy, was a major league ballplayer in the ’90s formerly known as Stanky the Yankee.  Drew was a late entry to the Fall League, taking the place of injured J.P. Crawford.  He had a rough time in field in his first action today, but it’s a great experience for the 22 year-old who should be ready to climb to AA next season.
