A Day in the Life

Early morning drive to Starbucks sun rising over the Causeway, Scientologists sipping caffeine in uniform, cardboard gawkers at downtown rehab project, Spring Breakers breaking on the beach while I read with cute puppy hanging out nearby as wedding processions proceed, then ultimately to Tate Island for incomparable sunset as Pirate Ship sails by Tate’s pit and back to port.

Okay; now I know that this is really the twighlight zone. I’m reading your completely enjoyable and relaxing post at 6:59 p.m., March 22, California time, and the date/time stamp on your post reads 1:53 a.m., March 23, East Coast time. I thought that we were only 3 hours behind. Now, I’m 7 hours behind, and I can think of no way to catch up; and I’m not on the beach, and I only live 30 minutes from the Pacific Ocean. As Rod Serling would say: “For your consideration; Marc’s life is a mess.”
