Sunshine Came Briskly Through Our Window Today

Holy Cow!  These days are flying by fast despite my resolve to slow them down.  Phils meandered down the Gulf Coast to Bradenton to play the Pirates with the offense showing discipline at the plate as the pitching dominated.  We resolved not to travel beyond Clearwater and Dunedin to follow the Fightins this time around, and though it’s still a bit nippy in town the sun was out in all its splendor today.  So we took advantage and walked the beach, over to Pier 60 and the crafts where we bought a print from talented photographer Tom Yetter.

Thanks to Winter and Dolphin Tale, dolphins are all the rage in town, and Tom captured the sculptures on display when they were all lined up in the Pier 60 park last September.  It’s like a treasure hunt walking around town and trying to spot where all the dolphins have been permanently installed.  Today we took a stroll and passed by the Hooters Dolphin, and this work of art is really a sight to behold.

The only thing I couldn’t figure out was why they had this T-Shirt on display in the window of the souvenir shop next door.
