Pandering to Philly & NY in Boynton Beach

Pandering may seem like a harsh term, and I’m sure the culinary establishments down South really do believe they’re duplicating the NY and Philly cuisine, but it just isn’t the same.  Or perhaps, that’s the point.  Given the choice of duplicating the food or the weather, alot of Northeast transplants and visitors happily live with the shortfall of nostalgia in exchange for rays of warmth in the winter.

  2. Ah, but that’s because you grew up in Philly, not New York. Ask New Yorkers about egg creams, and you’ll see reverence.
