Mindy Smith – The Best Unknown Singer You’ll Ever Know

The snowstorm that blew up the Coastline last night made for some nice Sarah McLachlan listening, and was enough of a nuisance to delay our local Starbucks opening this morning, but didn’t buy me a day off from the office.  Just as well, though, it provided impetus this evening for a re-discovery of Mindy Smith.  Her angelic, crossover country voice goes well with a fireplace and hot chocolate, but is delectable any time, any where.

  1. You know, Len, I wrote a country music song once. Two of them, actually, though the first one never really went anywhere and the other one was a moderate hit. The first was called “Hit Me On The Head And Wack Me Around”. The second was “It’s Been So Lonely On My Saddle Since My Horse Died”. The second one has a certain amount of country appeal, there was no doubt about its success! 🙂

    Take care Len.
